Just as you look after your teeth to prevent plaque and dental disease, you have to take care of your pet’s teeth.
Gently lift your pets lip – take care, you could be in for a surprise.
More than 85% of dogs and cats over four years old have some form of dental disease. So look out for the signs, such as:
- Bad Breath
- Broken or loose teeth
- Bleeding gums
- Discoloured teeth
- Receding gums
- Reluctance to chew or eat
- Rubbing at the face
- Excessive drooling
If you think your pet is showing the signs of gum disease it is important that treatment is started early to prevent deterioration and pain.
