Loving animals and the human-animal bond were what drew Manty to the Veterinary profession. Before being employed by NHVH she spent 10 years at a small animal practice in Hong Kong. Coming back to Tassie with 3 children and Mr Ed the Labrador in 2007 she joined NHVH and eventually became a Director of the hospital.

Manty believes that the work environment should be professional, stimulating, supportive and fun and continues to work towards this with NHVH. Away from work she likes spending time relaxing with her kids, walking the dog, reading and playing the piano.
