Jen decided to become a vet as she wanted to make things better for the animals – involving both surgery and medicine. She also wanted to work with both animals and people. After graduating she worked for 2 years in Tasmania before locuming in Western Australia for a year. She then came back to Tassie and started at NHVH in 1996.

Jen’s animal family consists Catcher the dog and a three legged kitten named Callum. When she gets a bit of time off from being a vet Jen likes to get out in her garden or go fishing.
