Hilary grew up with pets that were treated at North Hobart Veterinary Hospital and worked here as a Veterinary Nurse in 1996 before moving to Sydney to start her Veterinary Science Degree.  After graduating she worked in a rural, mixed animal practice in Northern Tasmania, then moved south to Hobart in 2004 where she started work at NHVH.

She is particularily interested in arthritis management in older pets to keep them pain free and enjoying life as long as possible.
