Recently back from maternity leave after the birth of her second child, Sarah first started work at NHVH in February, 2001. Before this she was a volunteer Derwent Valley Railway Navy Cadet instructor and worked at Woolworths and Salamanca Market.

She feels that animals were the ones that actually made the choice of career for her as they kept on accumulating on her family farm so she basically had to have a job on which she could learn to look after them!
