Qualifications:

• Certificate II in Veterinary Nursing
• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing

Recently completing her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing Abbey has been at NHVH since August, 2004. She is also undertaking University studies in Microbiology and Zoology.

At home Abbey has Baily the beagle x, Lucy the corgi x border collie, Smooch the ginger tabby she adopted from NHVH, and way too many fish! Brought up in a household filled with rehabilitating native critters Abbey believes that she was always destined to work with animals.

She has a special interest in native animals and is a strong advocate for patient rights. She loves cycling, camping and bushwalking and one day hopes to realize her dream of working with otters.
